Well Campers I think our numbers have grown large enough for this trip. If any of you out there have been thinking of coming and haven't said anything until now, PM me as I am still awaiting some confirmations. I am really amazed at the attention this trip has received. I can hardly imagine what the GGG will be like in February.

Ken,

Since you're putting a cap on the trip, it's time for me to make a firm decision. It still looks doubtful that I'll finish a job commitment in time to make it to the gathering, so I'll officially take myself off the list and make room for someone who's sure they can attend.

The gathering sounds fantastic. I look forward to the trip reports.

Doug….oh no….you are part of the reason to make it up there…..to meet the infamous…. :) Any change?

At least we can see Jack E. again.

@ Doug Ide & Diana Vann

Sorry you can't make it this time. Make sure you have President's Day Weekend free for the GGG extended version at Cache Creek.

Here is the current list that I know of for a possible party van (Thursday +/-5:00pm departure from SF)

SF-
Jim McDaniel

>
Jim Scoggins

> "The J Team" from now on?
Myself

>
Matt Bokariza
Matt Black
Kat (meet us in SF)

East Bay-
Cameron? (haven't heard from, but possible)

Maybe…
David Lutz(east bay)

If everyone here confirms that makes 7. Just about maxing out a mini-van.

If it goes over that we might be looking at a bigger vehicle.

We also dont haaave to take the same vehicle. I haven't priced a big van, but it could make more sense to just use two cars (4 to 5 people per car).

If your on this list and have updates or not on this list and want to be, please email me at winsteadla-AT-gmail.com

Three weeks!

Three Jims and two Matts in the same car……….a full house!

I'm also coming up from the East Bay but I still don't know when I am leaving here or returning from there.

Might end up driving alone, I suppose. That's ok, I enjoy the company. ; )

I have no problem driving up to the city to catch "the bus".

PostedSep 29, 2011 at 5:14 pm

Kat,

Parking is free, plentiful and safe out by my house but you might need to MUNI in to downtown to meet the van.

Thanks Matt. That was a good parking spot last time.

Downgrade that Full House to Two Pair.

This is an alias >.<

Two Jims, two Matts and an Eli

PostedSep 29, 2011 at 5:58 pm

Sorry Eli, you've already been included in the J Team…you can't backout now!

PS…I'm updating that last post as people speak up. As it falls too far back in this thread I'll post another one so people can keep up.

These little trips have been some of the best of what BPL has made possible for me. Wow! I never imagined that this little trip would gather so much attention. The guest list is getting pretty long. I would like everyone on the list to give me a heads up (PM) as to your intent. I will have to make sure I have enough room for Thurs. night so please let me know if you are in for that as well.

As always I am looking forward to meeting some new BPL faces. Has been an exceptional group. Better in person than on the forums.

Bring your ideas for things that can make the annual GGG even better.

If Cameron is bringing some of his 5 litre kegs with his beer….I have an idea

Would someone like to buy a little red wagon so that we can strap said kegs of nectar and pull it along the trail to Morris Meadow??? Just a thought.

Carry on.

sounds good, but it is a wilderness so no wheeled vehicles allowed…
