Keep the ideas coming! Some good ones so far.

I think another burn off is a must. Just have to have a videographer that will actually release the footage taken. That's right I'm talking about you E.J..

How about Touch Rugby which is one way to stay warm plus there is plenty of room out there. I will bring a ball just in case and it doubles a a pillow.

I'd like to demo how to alienate your friends and family with poorly timed snarky comments and over the top profanity. I won't even need much time, since, if I'm really good, nobody should hang around the demonstration very long at all….

You go, Doug! Represent those of us that can't be there, in true rogue fashion. But remember, I asked Kat to be the hall monitor, so you'll have to work around that.

I think it's great that ya'll are meeting once again. It looks to be a good time.

Very nice, Doug. I do that quite well on my own but it never hurts to learn some new tricks from a grand master.

"How about a "24hr. Gear Swap"?

Its nice to see everyone's gear but it might also be cool to trade for a night for some actual experience. It'd probably be best to work this out in a thread in advance."

I'd be interested in this.

Also, perhaps a dumb question, but what does GGG stand for?

Recently I had been away for a while, and when I returned I didn't see this thread. So I posted my suggestion for a campsite activity on another GGG gathering thread–sorry!

My suggestion was for a libation testing. Reading through this whole thread I found suggestions for beer tasting. But wine, scotch and other types of whiskey would be fun to taste, too. No doubt that will go on around the campfire whether it's a planned event or not; but I thought it would be fun to put it on the list anyway.

Sounds good Diana. I did catch that on the other thread. Bottoms up!

Why don't you guys cut to the chase and have somebody carry in an ultralightweight still to Manzanita Point? That would be the perfect place to utilize your ultralightweight stoves (under the still).

Maybe it would be easier to use the support vehicle to lay an ethanol pipeline from headquarters out to Manzanita Point.

Well everyone we are getting close to GGG time again! So I'm bumping this.

I am looking for ideas on activities and games for us to keep busy in camp.

Burnoff, Gong the Equipment, etc…

Have any good ideas? Please share them here.

"Let's not forget the ever popular swap meet."

How did you all do this in prior years? Just bring the stuff you hope to swap or arrange in advance? I've got a few things that could use a new home.

–MOVIE NIGHT IS STILL ON–

So far we have a couple of demonstrations and discussions offered up. Swap meet of course. A burn off, on a more level playing field.

What else?

KEn,

If I may, have any of the deomonstrations/discussions been nailed down as far as which topics and who is leading which breakaway group? Sorry if this was posted elsewhere, I couldn't find it.
