Ken, To be fair, the photo essays that I have created are ridiculously long and nothing close to a magazine article. It would be nice to be able to create an proper article for BPL members to read, who might not make it to the forums. Plus, it can give a chance to answer the question of how the GGG came about and its history….well, a short blurb on it. Like I said, MAYBE, after the photo essay is done. I am still getting used to life as a single father running the whole house, etc. Tony

I think the one from the 6th one is an article.
With all the HD video cameras we will have, a video blog isn't out of reach. It could be fun !, With a packraft and inflatable pool we might be able to make a video on pack rafting, and with some work we could also cover walking while wearing a pack.
We'll need a clock for timing
Danny, What about Jon from Flat Cat Gear??? He came out for the #6 GGG and has been at one or two of the So Call GGGs. http://www.flatcatgear.com/ Tony
I wanted to go but unfortunately I will be on a trip to French Polynesia. Have fun guys!
You too! Thanks again.
"That's right Danny. All BPL staff are more than welcome." Ken T., You should invite Ryan Jordan….
"You should invite Ryan Jordan…." I've invited him numerous times personally. I've offered to put him up and transport him to and from the airport. He's even said it was a neat thing, the GGGs. But alas, no is always the answer. Trying to stir something up Michael? Ryan qualifies as staff, does he not? You coming?
It is Friday the 13th. Here is a bump for good luck and good weather.
Filling up fast. Looks like we may need to add another spot at this rate. I still encourage anyone who wants to come, even if you are not yet sure that you can make it to reserve yourself a spot. This helps me out in gauging interest and makes it easier for me to make plans accordingly. Thanks to the 60 so far. And check the first post in this thread for the latest information.
Have now 63 signed up.
I have no idea what happened to all the information on the first post on this thread. So again,
RSVP soon as spots are filling up. Thanks to everyone who has signed up so far.

I have had you two down for some time. Wouldn’t be a GGG without you. Glad you’re coming.
Yep, can’t edit any posts before the switch. That’s a shame. Â 7 weeks away. Still room.
It is just a month away. Happy Holidays!
Count Phoebe and I in.
She was upset we missed last year!
Happy holidays all. Just wanted to encourage new folks who may be shy and sitting on the fence not to miss GGG #8. The Ms. and I have been to GGG’s organized by K T at Henry Coe and Point Reyes and wouldn’t miss this one except for being overseas (so folks please post lots of pics and some video). Met lots of great people, many of whom I’d only known on the forums before, and got to try out more lightweight gear in one place than you can imagine – shelters, packs, cooking gear, headlamps, etc. Thank you K T and everyone who has made them possible.
Tony, your photo essays are WAY BETTER than magazine articles.
I will put you and Phoebe on the list Rick. So glad you’re coming
Ethan. Hope to catch up when you get back.
Happy New Year everybody
Three weeks away and still a bit of room. I will be checking with Coe about the water situation. Also looks like no fire ban this time either. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions. I will have some signage up at the park to help the first timers find us.
Looking forward to it!
