Ken and David – thanks for organizing this. I am very much looking forward to it, though I don't know how long we'll be able to stay (baby #2 will be 3 months old at that point). Weren't there 125 people in 2014? This time there are only 70 spots available – will we be able to reserve more sites if more people want to come?
Don't panic. Yes we had over a hundred people that attended for the day. Not everyone camps. We will be fine. 70 is the official maximum. There has never been a head count done by the park.There is certainly room for more than that.

Looks like I will be a day tripper again. Assuming my back recovery stays on track, I should be able to haul a load of brownies out there at least one of the days. Wish I wasn't working those Friday, Saturday nights and Sunday afternoon, but at least I'll be down in San Jose.

Roger – Tony Wong (and others) do a nice follow up report with tons of photos, but better yet, you should come! Consider this your invite. I'm certain we can find BPLers to host you before and after the event, and carpool with you to the trail head.

Roger, Short of alien abduction or family emergency, I will be at the 2016 GGG and taking photos. Once I get home, I will make a point of putting up a ton of photos to document the event. That might take a few days, but I will get them up ASAP. Now, if you are talking about an article for BPL….maybe, but not likely. It would be redundant to the photo essay. Tony
