Went backpacking for 4.5 days in Wyoming’s Wind River Range! Been a goal of mine for years, and finally this summer my schedule looked good for it. Then news of the eclipse hit, and it turned out this spot was in the path of totality! Hiked from Green River Lakes to Titcomb Basin, and then out Elkhart Park. Used Great Outdoor Transportation Co. for shuttle services. Stopped for the eclipse above cloudless, crowdless Summit Lake — phenomenal experience! Wildflowers were magnificent everywhere. Bugs were absent on the trail and diabolical in camp — head net got used. Scenery was splendid. :) Photos in next post…
