Even though there ended up being 4 (movies that is….). Does that mean you’ve got to create more stuff for three more contests? Ocelot, The Sequel!

Three prototypes were manufactured. One is being given away here, one on Facebook and I will keep the last one.

Excited to see this one through to production Jon. I think the PR & Inferno may end up being my UL solo solution. Quick question…. Do you foresee any development on an additional windscreen of sorts for this setup?

Will these actually be a production offering at some point in time? Did I miss that part of the info?

If enough of us make that assumption Bonzo, Jon will have to, right? It’s my intention to force him into a life of developing low cost, high quality accessories for my backpacking stove.

Good catch Bonzo…. Not sure if that is committed to (yet ;) ).

Here is my dilemma: the current design works well with the Sterno Inferno HX mug with no stove modifications.  An alternative design will work with all HX pots but the efficiency may be lower.  Which one makes more sense?

Impossible to answer with the current information: there are just so many variables in play with producing a product like that. If I may hazard a guess, though: it likely makes more sense for the consumer to have a coupling plate that allows them to swap between various pots without buying a new adapter every time.

It was a Tuesday
afternoon in late August
when I realized
that I had been composing
the wrong kind of poetry.

The contest for the Experimental HX Plate for the Pocket Rocket Deluxe is over. There were a total of 17 entries (although, not all of them followed the rules exactly) and a random winner was selected. @Jon – Thank you!  This contest was a great idea and we really appreciate the spirit of both the host and all of the entrants.  I had fun reading all of the poetry.  I’m glad Bonzo was the winner – they certainly put the most effort into the poetry.  And now I don’t need to buy a Pocket Rocket…
