Well, it has been a good life. No regrets!

More likely compounds containing sulphur, akin to farts. ;0)
Nov 28, 2018 at 7:33 pm #3566322Another way to view this is that the <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>planet</span> will be just fine. We probably won’t, and I think we are in for some very scary and unhappy times in the next couple of hundred years as a still-increasing population competes for decreasing resources. But Earth’s systems will eventually rebalance, different plants and animals will thrive, and the planet will still exist. Just maybe without humans or in drastically reduced numbers. Part of me would like to see what inhabits the planet in 10,000 years.

Cheers

Enjoy!
Nov 29, 2018 at 9:36 pm #3566481This thread put me in a state of depression….bummer :-(
Nov 29, 2018 at 11:41 pm #3566499… new forum
Cool beans!
In response to the OP, just drink more IPA as there’s economic forces greater than any individual at work. It can cut off time spent backpacking. Example: my last 2 summers in Cascadia were cut short by massive smoke, but maybe use that time elsewhere.
Real estate may have the most problems if the worst happens (alongside or compounding other problend) as it’s also the most expensive purchase by the vast majority. Should be “fun” …
Dec 1, 2018 at 1:11 am #3566660So I guess this entire “conversation” will continue on the new Environmental Issues Forum.
See you there!
