Received my quilt. :D Revelation, 30*, overfilled, wide, weighs 19.3oz w/o back cords. I'll probably be using it next week in Death Valley.
Previous bag was a Katabatic Chisos w/ 2 oz overfill, weighed 16.7oz, it was too narrow for the tuck method as a side sleeper, perfect as a back sleeper. EE quilt will give me more versatility, still not sure if I like the Karo baffles though.
Any "hot and ready" Rev X, 6', regular or wide 30 degree overstuffed, quilts coming? Preferably grey or black inner with grey or olive green outer. I have a trio to Joshua Tree coming up on the 23rd this month.
This week 3 6' WIDE 20* grey/green will be coming in, maybe 4. We're not stocking 30* anymore because of the season change but the 30* os and 20* standard are very similar.

Tim – just wanted to say a public thank you for the wonderful 2 person Revelation X you made for my girlfriend and I. We gave it a brief test run in upstate New York this past weekend and loved it, even with temperatures dipping into the high 20's we were toasty! Can't wait to get out and use it again, it is a beautifully crafted quilt.
Just for reference for other interested parties out there, Tim made us a Revelation X 70" wide and 78" long with a taper on it and 30* overstuff. Great to deal with, super fast turnaround time on the product and 100% satisfaction so far! Thanks again Tim!
(I'll post pictures as soon as I get my camera working again!)
Just in case anybody I turned down on a double quilt sees this I now have 72" material (lime and yellow) so I can build 70" quilts. I can't however make the more standard 80" wide double quilts.

Ordered a Rev-X after asking numerous questions (I'm sure Tim was tired of them :) which were answered in an insightful/knowledgeable as well as prompt manner.
Couldn't ask for a better purchasing experience as Tim's customer service is a model example of why I like the cottage industries; not only do they make cutting edge products at the forefront of our beloved hobby, but you deal/communicate with the people producing them.
(+)1 to Enlightened Equipment…..Thanks!
I'm glad that I am part of the order experience. I love answering questions (tons of them). I'm glad you guys are buying from ME and not just some faceless courporation. It is my goal that no matter how large we get I am always available to customers. Well see, my wife is quitting her job the first of the year and will take over some of the basic customer service stuff, but I will still be handling tech specs and custom questions. I hope this change helps us get gear out faster without losing the personal connection I have with you guys. Look for -Nols after the first instead of -Tim

As long as you keep the personalization along with high quality products, you can't go wrong….
This crap is getting out of hand

Tim, be sure to go into your posting history and bump this thread later because it'll kind of disappear when the spam is deleted. When you bump the thread, it becomes visible again.
I spammed him myself with lots of questions about how to choose a quilt (too many fabrics! Too many choices!). And he kept responding quickly and wonderfully – and I should have my new RevX quilt in time for my next trip next weekend.
But I have to say, I'm starting to hate all of you. A lot. Do you have any idea how much money I'm spending??!!! All these great ideas, amazing advice, and as I watch my pack weight dwindle I just want to keep tweaking and tweaking and tweaking…
I mean, what was wrong with my 3# 15 deg big agnes down bag??????
;)
Thanks Tim!!!
It left here 2hrs ago, enjoy!

I am sooo dangerously close to clicking the "buy" button on a Revelation quilt right now!
I blame everyone of you here on BPL for the rave reviews of Elightened Equipment and Tim Marshall & co. :)
Seriously, I am looking to replace my WM ultralight 20 bag with a similar rated quilt.
Been using my WM bag as a quilt for years anyway since it is a bit too tight in the shoulder area when used as a bag. But then it is a bit drafty when used as a quilt at times.
Seems like I could save 15 ounces in the process and gain the ability to wear layers underneath without compressing the fill from the inside out which happens in my WM.
My willpower is fading fast…
Alright.. i am jumping over to EE's website now..
Update: I caved in to Peer pressure LOL!

P.S.
Lots of 6' WIDE 20* and 10* next week, even a couple 0* We are still shipping made to order down quilts in about 3 weeks and synthetics in about a week. Epiphany is the only exception as our slowest worker build these, me (4-6 weeks)
Already got a sound response from Tim as to the delivery date of my quilt. That is CRAZY fast even by internet standards.
I say : "go ahead and order your quilt."
Don't wait 2 years.
You know you want one.

So I did succumb to all this peer pressure and bought one of the rev x quilts…ordered it Friday, received it Monday. Very well-built, VERY poofy, nice fabric. I get to take it on a test drive next weekend…
And for Christmas I may buy myself one of the higher-grade revelation ones, too…that's how impressed I am with the price and the service.
Nice job, Tim. Thanks for being a pleasure to buy from.
