Hey Tim what are the chances you can or will start using lighter materials?
Like some 7D, M50, Pertex etc.

I don't often stock 5'6" because I end up sitting on them for too long. You can always order one off my site and it should ship in 3 weeks.
I do use lighter fabrics, but I only build RevX for stock as its 75% of my business. My 10d is NOBULL 1 which weighs very similar to 7d(which is gone) and m50. In Jan I will also offer NOBULL 2 which is more wind/water resistant. I also use impetus 15d fabrics in 1.0 and 1.1 but these don't save much over 30d 1.1 because the weave is more dense. It makes a much softer fabric though.

You do a great job. Quilt arrived today after I ordered it late Sunday night: that’s only 2 1/2 days after the order for a semi custom quilt. Unbelievable.
Quality looks great just like the first one I ordered. I know my wife is going to be pleased.

S63 SOLD!! (insert fireworks here)
Jack, you're not that far away but they must have strapped that quilt to a rocket. It was stuffed Monday morning and done just in time for Mondays pick up so it left a day ahead of schedule but still.

I am 6'2" and I am unsure of what size to get. I am looking at getting a zero degree quilt. It would be used along with a 30 degree bag with the quilt on top. I would also supplement the hood with a separate down hood. For width I am assuming wide in order to go over the the 30 degree bag. For length I am unsure. I would like the quilt to come up just to my neck, not over my face. So with toes pointed forward I would be around 78" total.
Does this mean I can get away with a 6' quilt or would I need a 6'6 version?
Also does the 30d seconds have any dwr? Or to get that do you need to move into the revelation series.
Greg,
In a normal situation I'd say go for the 6', I use it and I'm also 6'2". But when used as over bag I think you'll want the 6'6" do it isn't compressing the footbox of the I side bag to reach your chin.
Yes all fabric has DWR but not all fabrics and DWR are equal. The 30d is middle of the road balancing weather resistance with breath ability very well. More resistant is less breathable and more breathable is less resistant.

Our two person 20 deg. Rev X with 30% overfill arrived. Have slept in it two nights, the first solo to 27 deg. and the second double to 32 deg. Both nights it was extremely comfortable. I think with a light bivy sack and good pads, we should be fine down to 15 deg; in a tent, even lower.
Very clever, well-executed design. And extremely affordable. Am looking forward to the snow.
