I made a completely unnecessary purchase of a BL-1 short sleeve and a BL-2 long sleeve. I'm 5'11" 195, pretty low body fat percentage and I ordered a large so I'll report back if that might help anyone. It's funny you mention you can't stand large neck opening…I absolutely become infuriated by tight or high collars. It doesn't feel like clothing covering my body anymore and more like clothing growing into or onto my body.

Different strokes…!

The BL 1 & 2 that I have and have worn for a couple of months now have a 'athletic' fit to them. I'm usually a XL and got XXL.

How much of this stuff is going to pop up on the Gear Swap in the next month or two for higher prices???

I wonder.

Hmm, I have never received a confirmation email of the two remaining items I ordered being sent to me even though I ordered on Friday. Got the message on Monday that I was not going to get two of the items I did order (out of four). Maybe I am not going to get any of them. I would try to call and find out but I don't think I could get through.

Mark:

Who cares if it did? If someone wants to sell something they decided they don't need at $5 more than they paid for it to cover their expenses, big deal. Feel free to pay MSRP somewhere else if you think that's more "honest."

How much of this stuff is going to pop up on the Gear Swap in the next month or two for the same or lower prices, passing on the deals to other folks?

I was charged a couple of days ago but no email confirmation or tracking number. I did get the sale event email so I know I typed my email right. I chatting through the live chat, but it is asking me to wait for the last 10min.

Wasn't trying to start an argument; I really was just thinking off the top of my head, man.

Mark: No worries, man. Not trying to start an argument, either- just an honest reply/question- what diff does it really make?

I ordered yesterday, after the site page was down all weekend. Then 'add to cart' kept leading to an error page.
Tried calling their 800. Pretty busy, obviously. Kept trying. Eventually got through, got someone live, gave a phone order, they were able to see inventory in real time and told me one of the items I wanted was sold out, although it was still showing available on the page and in the color/size dropdown boxes.

Called back later that day to add something else to the order. Finally got through, was told they were out of the item I wanted to add; I asked by any chance is the item I wanted initially that was OoS then available now? And it was…they found some additional inventory, or someone canceled a pending order, who knows. So, success, I got both items I initially wanted after all.

Got an email today (24 hrs later) confirming order was processed and would be shipping soon. Good stuff, great prices, worth working the phones for.

My point is, keep trying, they're busy, try and talk to someone live, and remember the site page is not always updated.

I ordered a bunch of stuff last Friday and received no word until today – an email confirming that it will be delivered tomorrow. It hasn't shown yet on my credit card but should today or tomorrow

For those having trouble with Golite's cart app, just delete your cookies (or specifically, Golite's cookies). I was having the same issue, and this fixed it.

Ordered first thing Tuesday morning when the sale went up. Got the BL-2 1/4 zip in two sizes to make sure at least one would fit and received confirmation soon after. Just got an email today (Thurs) that they were out of stock and my order was canceled and refunded.

Also tried LeftLane but they want $18 shipping for a 6 ounce shirt, and if the fit is no good, returns are only good for credit and they have very limited inventory.

*If anyone gets the BL-2 1/4 zip in size L and doesn't want it, pls send me a pm.

Ordered last Friday and got the extra 40% off, just got an email today (Thursday) stating the package was shipped today? It appears Golite has been too busy for the last week to ship my package.

Like the checkout page warned, I think they're just extraordinarily busy right now. They also have an online ordering system that is a little different than most. I forgot about this until receiving my invoice and teaching number today. Seems kind of manual, even- I got a UPS Quantum email. Didn't get any confirmation, just the invoice and quantum.

Just fyi!

Aaron, ditto. I got an emailed warehouse invoice copy 30+ hrs after ordering by phone, then a UPS shipping email saying Golite created a shipping # but UPS had not necessarily picked anything up.

Hope I get my stuff since it's OoS now. These big online closeout sales are always a free-for-all.

Beats getting mobbed at a department store:-)

Yep. Although it would be great to be able to go down racks and try stuff on.

FWIW, just a minute ago I got my first real shipping status report from UPS; stuff is in transit and scheduled to arrive Monday ( I ordered early Tuesday).

On the earlier post about closeout stuff appearing later on Gear Swap, y'know, IMHO that's fine with me. I wouldn't mind a second chance at stuff I missed before I knew about this sale, and I don't mind paying somebody a reasonable profit for his time. Nobody's forcing anyone to buy anything, and no one's getting filthy rich reselling second hand gear at prices people are willing to pay (unlikely, but fine with me if they could).

Just my .02. YMMV.
Thanks again to the original poster who created this thread; funny, I&#39signed up for Golite's mailing list but wouldn't have known about this sale if not for this forum.

I lost both a pair of Reed pants and a Men's Large Pinnacle in two transactions. I don't mind not getting them although the Reed's are rare birds but may be marginal in the PNW. But I have to say that the Golite site seems way behind the curve in terms of navigation, and negative in terms of reflecting real inventory. It is not a good business practice to tell people they have placed an order , gotten confirmation only to be left hanging, and for a 3 day lag. As I said it's not a big deal to me but if somebody here knows how to deal with the IT end of ordering/website design I'd say tell them what you could do for them.

yeah, got another email from them telling me they couldn't ship two of the items which i knew monday. still no confirmation email. told them to cancel it if it hasn't shipped already. i just don't care
