Has anyone got the email notice about the sale today that Dana sent a link to sign up for?

I was not able to get the link she left to work.

I ordered a bunch of stuff but have yet to receive an email confirming shipment. I did receive a order number so I will just have to wait and see.

I've now received emails for both of my orders. The emails come when your order ships out and they are working through the pile of orders that came in Friday. All is well.

I just got a "We're sorry…" email saying they're actually out of the men's medium Reed pants I bought and that my order's been canceled.

Anybody got an extra pair of mediums to spare?… :)

Sadly, I received the same email regarding the poncho tarp. Would have been a great deal. The 2011 version is a bit lighter but only in a LOUD yellow, and almost 3 times as much as the listed closeout. Grrr.

Oh well.

Hate to make everyone wait another day – but it looks like we'll be getting the page up by tomorrow instead. The email will most likely go out first thing tomorrow.

I received an out of stock on the poncho also–order canceled. I emailed saying the poncho was available on their web page. Answer-yes but not in the sage color that I ordered. My response–Why don't you just put it on back order or as an alternative I'll take it in the bamboo if you'll honor your price. Answer–sorry your order has already been canceled. My response–this all would have turned out better if you simply emailed me that there was a screw up in the sale/discount code system and we can't sell it at that price. I need to cool down….
The good news is that they're emails responses were very quick and I give them credit for that.

I am considering an Odyssey pack and had it in my shopping cart with the 40% off code applied. When I saw the post about Clearance sale, I checked out the clearance page and noticed some great prices. I also saw that other promos and coupons could not be combined with the Clearance sale. When I added a poncho tarp to my cart, I noticed the 40% off was applied as well, which I knew was a mistake by some human like me working in GoLite's office. Even if I could have gotten the "deal," I decided I didn't want to take advantage of GoLite's already low clearance prices and already generous 40% coupon offer like that. The customer service "problem" is a direct result of people trying to double-dip when they were informed not to. Kudos to GoLite for handling it like they have.

GoLite did have a message at the top of the Clearance sale saying you can not use coupon codes and they would not honor them, so do not get too mad guys. They still should have had it set up to not accept them because it was small text at the top of the page, and like they said originally on here they were going to honor those orders, right?

I ordered a yellow poncho tarp when the 40% coupons were still effective. I’ve already received it. The color is a very subdued yellow, not bright like the photo on the website. It’s 7.0 oz. (as advertised).

One thing to keep in mind is that the poncho tarp shown on the website (in yellow) is a newer, lighter version. The green poncho they had on clearance has been discontinued. It’s made with heavier material, and it’s 10 oz.

I look forward to trying out my new poncho. I like the way the hood fits around my face. Another big plus is that it’s adjustable at the bottom to make the length shorter (for when you’re not carrying a pack). If that weren’t true, for someone my height (5’7″), it would drag on the ground in back.

I ordered the sage poncho tarp from the clearance page on friday morning (with the 40% coupon) and still haven't received and email confirming or cancelling my order. Not a single communication back from golite on the order. My credit card has been charged, so I'm hoping no news is good news and the tarp is en route but we'll see.

I am in the same boat. Ordered one when I said earlier in this thread but so far I have not received any communication regarding shipping or cancelation.

At the end of the day I am not concerned if they honor my order or not– it is only a poncho tarp, however if they have them back in stock then I probably wouldn't re-order one for the original clearance price.

Can't find the Clearance page anywhere on the site. What's the status? When will it be back up?

I talked to customers service at golite today and they said that the clearance should start at 10 am Boulder time on tuesday

I just got my email about the Jam I ordered for $50.00 that said it shipped today.

I also had them cancel an order this morning so they are working hard to get things done.

I just got an email saying my $18 (40% off coupon on top of 50% clearance) 2009 poncho tarp shipped, so apparently some of the messed up savings are being honored and perhaps they really did just have some inventory/website issues.

Just got an email from Brenda about the out of stock Reed Pants, however, my 1/4 zip and SL-2 are on the way! All for $83. Winning…Bi-winning!! Must be the Tigerblood.
