So, jeff, setting aside your misrepresentation for a moment, did I misunderstand?
You think vets are typically prone to violent assault if they dislike someone?
You, personally, because of a difference of opinion about a conversation on BPL, would like to watch me being violently assaulted?

"How many more are going to paraphrase one another here ? Unless you are adding something new you are just one more rubbing it in. How much fun can that be really."

This is the exact reason my posts have been slashed in the past few years.

After enough crap form even just a few people, it becomes infectious to the site and makes you want to stop posting all together.

+1 to the points made by Aaron & Kat. And yep, I'd read all the postings before any were deleted. Resisted posting until now 'cuz dragging this crap out on and on with the same whining over and over seemed so pointless.

Really pointless.

But honestly, does anyone else see the irony of folks blasting someone for being thin-skinned; then getting all thin-skinned when they get blasted back?

Things have sure changed here, at least from a long time ago. For the worse.

+1 Richard!

If you have to have a thick skin to play in the playground then it is a pretty rough playground!

Hi ben

You want to know something funny about that one? It does not apply to gmail, AOL, or other OVERSEAS (outside Oz) email providers! So its coverage might be a little less than Abbott hoped …

Farcical.

Cheers

Threads seem to last the longest when they are no longer about a subject but instead about the thread itself. The exception being Hilleberg tents.

Perhaps it is an indication that some people (myself included) are concerned with the overall tone and tenor of some (many?) discussions here. If we are indeed 'beating a dead horse' then it does not speak well for the BPL community. It shows a 'head in the sand' attitude, no willingness to look critically at how others are treated on this website. "Nothing to see here, move along."
