Wrong is a subjective term, but that pot swinging back and forth and banging against the pack and buckles could be quite annoying.

I don’t know if it’s “wrong,” but the bringing of musical instruments into the wilderness lets the rest of us practice our bear spray skills.

Headstock of uke is facing down–altho he’s got the body snugged tight so maybe that’s preferable–hard to say. But when he takes his pack off and sets it down and it collapses a little bit…wouldn’t that stress the head and neck?

The pot is supposed to be inside the pack stuffed with all kinds of kitchen stuff :-) First time I’ve seen a pot outside a pack. Bottles I’ve seen…no pots.

The uke is the first one I’ve seen included in a ultra light pack review. Shave an ounce, add a pound ;-)

And then again, there are exceptions

Every time I come to BPL the first thing I see is a photo of something being reviewed. The more times I look at the photos, something starts to stand out as not being right. This photo of the tent makes me think it was set up without being concerned about site preparation. Too much debris so close to the tent. Yes, I know…HYOH ;)

Why are you wearing so many layers?

If that were me I’d overheat faster than a penguin hiking Death Valley.

Honestly the only thing wrong is that the girl in the photo is facing north and has shorts on, not the brightest idea during winter months.  Other than that, I’m as clueless as the next guy!

You should only bring a polycarbonate uke backpacking,  unless you want fire wood.
