Wow, how did I not see this. I guess I have not been lurking around the forums enough lately.
Regardless, congratulations, Kat. It’s really good to see you so happy.
A close relationship – your person- is the most important thing in life. At least it has been the most important thing in life to me. It seems you are now found. I’m really happy for you.
May 4, 2017 at 4:47 pm #3466207Thanks Ben!
I found “myself”, the big stuff anyway, a long time ago……but having a partner to share love with is a very good feeling and I am not making a pun either, I mean that in the deepest sense.
Jul 20, 2017 at 4:21 pm #3480061Congratulations, wonderful story and thank you for sharing!
Jul 20, 2017 at 5:19 pm #3480072Late to the party, but Congratulations!
(Roger: I’m sure that’s just sparkling cider and within forum guidelines.)
Aug 18, 2017 at 4:53 pm #3485887Just saw this…
thanks Edward and David!
It is good to feel part of something solid :)
Sep 21, 2017 at 1:37 pm #3492359Trip report so far: best trip ever :)
someone that appreciates the very things in me that make me difficult for others…and someone to laugh with a whole lot ;)
Dec 7, 2017 at 7:58 am #3506034Hi Kat,
I haven’t been in the forums in a long while. I’ve only been popping in to read articles and look up info when I need to. When I saw this I knew I had to say something. I want to be sure to add to your legions of friends in congratulating you on your recent union. I’m so glad to see that you’ve found love and happiness. I wish you a lifetime of both. 😀
Dec 7, 2017 at 12:24 pm #3506047Hi Kendall,
thank you so much! It’s been the sweetest time in my life ( by far) and we are both beyond thankful :)
Dec 8, 2017 at 1:30 am #3506156nice to see both of you back.
Mar 4, 2019 at 3:51 am #3581682The trip continues on this anniversary…
We are both so busy that often it’s but a weekend trip to the store together but we do it holding hands. Our lives are an adventure and I am blessed to share it with someone I love and admire so much.
Mar 4, 2019 at 8:08 pm #3581779It makes me smile,
thinking about you two,
cruising down the coast,
holding hands,
in the Cadillac…Mar 4, 2019 at 8:55 pm #3581794^^^ thankfully the caddy needs some work and we are cruising in the old diesel dodge pickup :) more my speed than that boat .
Mar 4, 2019 at 9:24 pm #3581797Happy anniversary, Kat! I’m so glad things are going well. I’m really happy for you.😀
Mar 4, 2019 at 10:38 pm #3581812Good Luck!

Mar 5, 2019 at 12:56 am #3581833Thanks Roger. Good luck to you too.
Hi Kendall!!! Thank you so much; nice to hear from you :)
Mar 3, 2020 at 7:46 am #3634090The trip continues and so do the adventures. We have been married three years today ( but together much longer) and I feel like the luckiest person. We have each other’s back and we both have Baldy’s back ;)
This may not belong here on the forum, so I have been told, but this has been my “community” for over a decade and I have shared my fun, my gear, my diy, my opinions on just about everything so why not a small tribute on love and partnership.
We still hold hands as we walk and what is sweeter than that.
❤️Mar 3, 2020 at 10:49 am #3634106Congrats on three years. Ren an I just had our 27th with being together for 32. Where does it go?
Mar 3, 2020 at 10:52 am #3634107yeah, congrats
Brenda and I have 23 years plus a couple before we got married. I recommend it.

Thanks Jeffrey.
@Dave Stoller thank you so much for the nice words and sentiment :)Jun 6, 2020 at 2:53 am #3651289Hi Katt, I haven’t been on this site for quite sometime, probably since 2014 when I broke my ankle doing my favorite hike “Rae Lakes Loop”. I’m happy that you found someone to spend the rest of your life with, congratulations, enjoy and be happy, life and love are a precious thing. Maybe the old gang can make another trip to Rae Lakes before we’re all to old to do it. lol
Jun 6, 2020 at 5:27 pm #3651389Jack!!!! I have been thinking about you recently. I hope you are doing well.
Thank you for the nice words. I feel so very lucky; it keeps getting better every day :)yes someday I would like to do another trip and why not Ray lakes .
