Wow. Â Uh. Â That video is interesting. Â Gee, someone is trying a bit too hard to be “extreme” or something.
Thanks for the entertainment :)
The narration sounds like a takeoff on the old Steve Climber backpack and  French wedge videos.
. Flextrek 37trillion .
How are they connecting the multiple “pods” together – hard to tell from the video? Could that work for securing tarp doors closed instead of zippers or the “cross-over flap” Zpacks design?
Couldn’t make it through the whole video after narrator said #1 is less than any pther number. Geez….dumbass!
375 gram sleeping bag that goes down to 25 degrees F? Is that physically possible without being a mutant?
That \
That was pretty entertaining. I admire the ability to go all-in on something, even if it’s stupidity.
The end product isn’t quite as stupid as the narration style.
Kinda like an unholy combo of a Rainbow + Klymt V + a BA sleeve.
How they attached was mystery. That part didn’t look especially convincing.
Is it bad that I absolutely loved that video…not the product…but that video is completely awesome.

Have you been working with a lot of glue lately, Steve? :-)

How madcap.
@idester LOL…I knew I shouldn’t have actually posted that :)
AB-SO-LUTE-LY hilarious video!!! Â But I don’t think this belongs in “Gear” — more appropriate in “Chaff”, LOL.
I didn’t study the video too closely, but in one shot, I noticed a few small plastic black toggles hanging down from the edge that would connect to the next tent… if one tent simply toggles onto the next tent with a few toggles, then the folks inside are going to have a nasty surprise when it rains…
Attaching one tent to the next in a waterproof way would be quite complex, and involve roofing principles like “flashing”. Â It would best be accomplished IMHO by having the connection at the highest point, then using flashing to guide the water down over leak-proof surfaces. Â As with a flat roof, any ponding or pooling of water would result in disaster sooner or later…
Seems very reasonable. Sign me up!
