Greetings all,
I recently moved from Southern California to San Antonio, Texas. Does anyone have any recommended trips or wilderness areas for this location? I can obviously Google nearby Wilderness areas and search for trails, but I would like to know what locals or past and present natives think. SOCAL and the Sierras probably spoiled me, but I’m sure there’s some good trips near San Antonio.

Good luck. Texas is not known for having vast wilderness areas . . . even though some could argue the entire state is one big wilderness.
