Hey Dan, sorry to hijack this thread. I lucked across an Toaks 850 which they don’t make anymore. It has the same diameter as the 750 so could I possibly send that to you for a ridge? I’d be happy to pay for your time of course. I was trying to find that 750 with handles earlier but this would give me just that little extra bit of room for my cook kit. My GSI mug pushes the lid up just a smidge on the 750. I know, I’m weird, it’s a very minor detail but it drives me nuts.

Hi Dan. I have a Toaks 650 pot with handles.  Seems to have same diameter as Toaks 750 pot and 5mm shorter (97mm high vs 102mm for the 750)  If I sent it to you do you think you could make a kit out of it? Thanks.

How high (long) is the windscreen when rolled up?

about 3-1/2″ fits sideways inside the 550

I’ve never thought to measure the reduction in height caused by the ridge. This year I will try to measure it.

The windscreen will fit vertical in the 650.

What’s the boil time with a modified zelph starlyte under that? Could I just ask for the pot and cone?

Matthew, we’ll be able to work something out. I’m customer oriented :-) Boil times vary by fuel used and starting water temp.

Today I emailed Toaks USA to find out if the 550’s have arrived yet from their homeland supplier. I’ll let you know what they say.
