Big change in the permit system. Now $6 and you have to get in advance. Limited numbers issued per day.
Nice trip report and pictures! I did Mattole to Shelter Cove as my first solo bp many many years ago; it’s nice to see the extension to Usal and read about it.
BTW, those are definitely blackberries and not thimbleberries :)
