Does anyone know the story behind the latest update from Hunny Canisters?
Unfortunately, our trail ends here.
Last year, we set out to create an ultralight bear-resistant canister, but ultimately the project was unsuccessful.
We are refunding all of our IndieGoGo backers this month to the address provided in your order. We’ll continue to support the development of America’s great trails, and the amazing community that calls it home.Happy Trails,
The Hunny Team

It appears the dream has slipped away. Seems Grizzly bears are worthy opponents for engineers.
Engineers had nothing to do with this mess. Â Big dreamers trying to take on technical challenges without having the necessary background or understanding to meet their goals. Â It looks like they made a prototype and reality struck; it was going to be harder than they imagined. Â Check out this video from Hunny from about 3 months ago. Â Great idea, it just has to have the right people working on it.
