That’s a lot of snow
May 12, 2017 at 12:30 pm #3467634Cool video. Here’s the correct way to watch it though:
Step 1, open up a new browser tab, surf over to YouTube, and search for “Airwolf theme song.”
Step 2, select and play Airwolf theme song.
Step 3, skip ad
Step 4, jump back to this page and press play on “Tioga 2017” video above.
Enjoy!
May 12, 2017 at 12:48 pm #3467637So they should be able to clear the road in a day or two, right?
May 13, 2017 at 6:31 pm #3467815On the other side of the pass, the park service is only to Porcupine Creek. They made about 4 1/2 miles in the last 3 days according to the website. 8 to 10 feet of snow.
Follow it here:

I followed Alex’s soundtrack idea & it was awesome.
Here is an alternate soundtrack:Â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hshRAoHlIEc
Jun 29, 2017 at 10:09 am #3476241It is open as of today.
Jun 29, 2017 at 10:32 am #3476247I’ve been thinking they’d get it open for the 4th holidays.
Had I only known – I coulda gone thru and picked up my National Parks lifetime pass today! But I’m betting there will be horrid lines of traffic. This spring has been exceptionally crowded in the valley, from what I hear.
Jun 29, 2017 at 11:05 am #3476257@b14 good call on the alternative soundtrack. Fits nicely.
Yeah, I’m waiting for things to dry out a bit and trying to stay away from weekends. Hopefully soon though. Love me some Yose!

Jun 29, 2017 at 11:31 am #3476263DK,
You can get a pass at most federal ranger stations and BLM offices. There is a small BLM field office across the street from my wife’s office. I got mine there.
