Oct 5, 2021 at 2:57 pm #3728908Manfred, isn’t Marie lake proper the next small one up? Very beautiful by the way. I wanted to leap the small outlet of that higher lake and then go walking over a huge expanse of open granite on the flanks of Banner–or is it Ritter?
Oct 5, 2021 at 5:17 pm #3728913Sawtooth Loop in Idaho. Sky color is from a fire burning on the next ridge over, we had ashes falling in our dinner.
Somewhere along the Teton Crest in Wyoming, iirc. That’s my cuben quilt when Tim was making them early in his quiltmaking career.
Upper Titcomb Basin, I think. Definitely the Winds regardless.
Mojave Desert.
Somewhere in Virginia, I think, though maybe Pennsylvania or West Virginia. Long time ago.
