The Borah Aurora Borealis, cause it's so cool looking, and a great, catchy sound combo.

The Sundial.

Lots of right angles, a huge marketing connection to the first picture, totally different from other tarp names, I dig it!

the FreeJack tarp

I'm not only trying to appeal to the all important ego of the stitcher here. Us light weight backpackers love gear that is adaptable/multi-use, but we mostly use tarps because of the weight savings. The most common use of the word Jack is the saying… Jack of all Trades. Save enough weight and you're dancing up from the valley to the pass, to the peak… Freedom. I'm pretty sure that the word "free" is associated with positive consumer imagery

There are dozens of clever names in here and a few hilarious ones. lol

For whatever reason, it wasnt the tarp design that gave me ideas for names, rather it was the request to "Pay It Forward" when the winner is ready to retire the tarp and move on to something else. I actually thought it was a very profound and important request. Name it the "Karma" tarp or give yourself the credit, Jack, call it the "PIF" to keep it simple.

Reflecting on that idea, I'm going to make more of an effort to "pay it forward" more often. I can't remember the last time I just gave someone an outdated, retired, or outgrown piece of gear. I've lent plenty that never made it home, but otherwise I think I've pretty much either hoarded my gear or sold it, and I know I'm not alone in this. It's a prudent idea that we should "pay forward" perfectly good gear so other young and old outdoor enthusiasts that we run into can get something different (and hopefully positive) from their experiences in the backcountry. We don't always *need* the money or extra gear, but who doesn't need good juju? Boom! You could also call also name it the "Juju" tarp… Or name it the "Hippy" after me and my random introspective moments on BPL ;)

How about…

T-Rex Ultralight

(large enough to swallow 2 and their gear but light enough for the counters)

Borah Hatch

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw it, and after seeing the rest of the pictures I thought it still fit.

Those lean to pics just remind me of a stealth bomber, especially if you flip the design so that there are attached doors on one side at both ends, as someone suggested.

Plus it gives you a bomber pitch.
