This one has the most pictures to date (35!). Post got deleted accidentally, but saved and re-posted with much grumbling thanks to cashed Google file (hooray!).

I finished the stage after this one and took lots of pics as well, that report to come in the next few weeks or so (grad school midterm season coming up).

4kg base weight, 1.3kg food, max volume of water 1 liter/kg, total pack weight 6.3kg. Temps were high of 8C low of 2C, though when I got off the train and headed to the trailhead it was a frosty -5C. Then clouds moved in and warmed things up a bit, but brought lots of rain. Which was fine, got to put my Zpacks WPB jacket to its most rigorous test yet, and it passed with flying colors.

Put in a total of a little over 50km over the whole weekend trip, and due to rough terrain and doing about 12km of off-trail bushwhacking stuff, got a minor stress fracture in my right foot, but it was worth it and it's healing up fine.

Hope you enjoy my report, feedback and questions always welcome, here or on my blog doesn't matter to me :)

Cesar,
Nice series of trip reports. Happy to learn more of a country I've seen a little of (Stockholm).

Thanks Tom, I am glad you enjoyed them. Stockholm is a nice place, but I prefer other cities like Gothenburg. It's a pretty big country, with lots to see and do as a backpacker (both urban and outdoor). You should come back sometime. :)

EDIT – Oh, and I should have two more reports up in the next week or so.

I will hopefully have two more reports up in the next week or so, and by the end of October I hope to have finished hiking the last 7 stages, with the reports done by around mid November. Then next spring start hiking and documenting another trail here in Sweden, but I have not decided on which one just yet.
