Ok, one more person ordering 2 or more and I'll put the order in. To make it easier, let's say 2 quart minimum, 6 dollars cash per bottle (I'll eat the small difference), payable on receiving it from me.

I'll do $7 per if it saves you a bit. Also, might take 3, but not sure where to store all those chems. my wife will think I'm heading to the hills for good this time .

Looks like they will store nicely, round plastic bottles, should fit somewhere or other, under sink, whatever, garage, etc.

Those actually came out to…. $6.66 a bottle with tax, heh. But I'm fine with what I said, or 13 for 2, or 7 each, whatever you want.

So those will probably arrive in about 1 week I'd guess, give or take, I count at least 6 so far, but we'll see.

it sounds like nice fuel though, and I like that it doesn't come in metal containers like hardware store stuff.

Harald, thanks again for organizing this – very glad to find an alcohol fuel that burns hot and clean. I'm down for 3, and fine taking 3, but if anyone wants to try this out, I'm fine sharing and giving one of my 3 to them, leaving me with 2. Just let me know.

Prices drop a bit with a 24 pack, I wasn't sure about the interest, and didn't make the title clear that this was an alcohol group buy, so there might be more interest.

With tax (shipping is free), it's 6.66 a bottle for 12 pack, that's the actual true cost (I'm trying to avoid the satanic ramifications of that, heh), and a bit less for 24 pack, just for future information for california based people.

I know I went through a ton of fuel testing my stoves, well, ok, not a ton, but many quarts, so this stuff goes faster than you think it will.

By the way, one reason I jumped on this one as soon as I read about it here, was that I really have not liked any of the fuels I've bought, the observation that kleanstrip green burns with a yellowish flame is correct, it does, and that's the one I use that seems least vile, so I'm anxious to try one that should burn pretty cleanly and be mostly ethanol. Something designed to burn inside the house just seems more likely to be better thought out re toxins and all that. Plus the plastic bottles are nice for storage etc.

Looking forward to hear how this stuff burns compared to the other alcohol choices.

Got to appreciate the interest in the purportedly cleaner fuel. Honestly, I think I gave $9 at REI for "Crown Brand" and it's just as bad (not good?) as the paint thinnner variety from Ace. You're so right about using fuel testing. Hard to keep a leash on when the little stoves have such a cool blue glow and there are so many ways to test and compare their efficiency. If fedex info is accurate, should arrive around tuesday, ie, about 10+ days from when I ordered it, so keep that in mind if you order more.

I needed to pick some up fairly quickly and was surprised to find a supplier only 5 minutes from me, so if anyone in the East Bay or SF would like to try my 3 bottles, you are welcome to them. Harald if someone doesn't step forward I'll still cover them as I'm sure friends will want to try it.

By the way, the bottles are very nice, solid, and look good for longer term storage.

It included the msds, and it notes this is stable over long term strorage. Tall rather than squat, so good for taking not too much room up in closet or whatever. Do not store hot, ie, probably not good in the garage if it gets hot.
