I might as well just drive to LA and pick it up at their location. I didn't realize E-NRG and ME were neighbours… keep us updated on how it performs!

If anyone wants any they are welcome to all 3 because I can pick up 5 min from me – at the same time I'm happy to take them as well Harald – if anyone is picking up from SF or the Peninsula it would be great if you can pick mine up and I'll pick up from you (and anyone from S Bay welcome to share those as well).
Hi EJ/Harold,
I would be interested in taking one of them. I live in the South Bay, but I'll be in SF on Saturday so I could take a slight detour to swing by Oakland in the early evening. Please PM me and we can try to work out something. Thanks!
Michelle you're welcome to the bottle or two. Will you be passing through the Peninsula on the way home from picking up? If so would be great if you could pick up my bottle or two and I could meet you on the way home. If not, is there anyone picking up that lives or works on the Peninsula or in SF? I'll be driving up the Peninsula to SF soon.
Ok, everyone has grabbed them except dk, who never responded to my pm. So unless dk contacts me before the next person who wants a bottle or two, there are 1 or 2 available.
If anyone sets up another group buy, I suggest you not use the bpl pm system for that, use real emails, easier, or phones.
Prices listed on site do not include state tax, so factor that in when you figure out the actual cost per bottle. Shipping takes about a week.
My trip down the PCT so. If Donner and back got cancelled due to wife's illness. I had planned to bring a little along for a test. Anyone have a chance to try/compare the e-nrg fuel? Curious how it went. Thanks again Harald for your help, can't have been that easy and it looks like you are still waiting on folks.
Don't under any circumstances buy this fuel, it isn't made for stoves, and will leave horrible soot residues on your pots, one burn will cover a clean pot with residue, a few will turn it dark black.
I'm surprised nobody updated to note this, so I'm doing it.
e-nrg does not promote this as a fuel, but they also don't say that it contains 10% isopropyl alcohol, which I believe causes the bad burns. If the flame is allowed to burn to its end it will not leave residue, but then it's useless for a stove.
I've emailed their customer support and he confirms it's not made for our types of stoves, it's made to make fake fires in a fireplace with pretty yellow flames. I'm guessing the isopropyl burns higher up the flame, and will completely combust if you don't block the flame's path.
Hopefully not too many people tried this stuff, I used 3 distinctly different types of stoves, and all soot, of course, since the flame is blocked from full combustion of the other components of the fuel, the stuff that turns the flame yellow that is.
Now to start getting all my testing and pot surfaces de-sooted, oh the fun.
