I went all the way till "place order". The only place asking for the coupon code I found is in the shopping cart.Nov 27, 2010 at 6:57 pm #1668481Hmm. That's strange. I was given a printed card by someone who works for Golite. It says CODE: DSW10 (enter at checkout)/Expires March 21, 2011

Nov 28, 2010 at 12:03 pm #1668632The code:DSW10 is not working right now we are finding out due to a glitch in the system but, that will be changed in the Golite system on Monday so try it then.

Nov 29, 2010 at 7:24 pm #1669206Needed another pair of running shorts, also liked the look of that button up collared shirt. Not a bad deal at 40% off!
Nov 29, 2010 at 9:19 pm #1669241I have been wanting to get a winter shelter for a while to start doing some winter backpacking and with %40 off I figured it was worth it.
Dec 2, 2010 at 5:01 am #1670069BSF10 is working as well
Dec 2, 2010 at 12:55 pm #1670178Shangri-la 5 for $210… If I had any cash left in the gear/hobbies budget I'd be all over that!

Dec 2, 2010 at 1:29 pm #1670187Base on Dondo and John, they will end in March 2011, so you will have a lot of time!
Dec 2, 2010 at 2:24 pm #1670206With 40% off, im gonna get the poncho tarp!
Dec 2, 2010 at 4:09 pm #1670234Does anyone have any experience with the 2010 poncho tarp? Is it worth purchasing?
Dec 2, 2010 at 4:22 pm #1670240from what i understand its a little small when sleeping under it, but its the kinda thing you take when you dont expect rain so no big deal there.
Dec 2, 2010 at 4:28 pm #1670242That's just the way poncho tarps are. But, I'm specifically wondering about the 2010 model. I know they made changes. It's lighter.
Dec 2, 2010 at 4:50 pm #1670248The 2010 is lighter due to lighter fabric, (from 30D to 15D) I believe, not due to smaller size. I had an older model poncho tarp which I used, but never in rain. I decided poncho tarping wasn't for me, and I turned my golite into a Roger Caffin Mountain poncho with the aid of 1yd of additional silnylon from Quest Outfitters. Now of I have rain jacket/pack cover that weight 8oz. At 40% off, I might pick up the new, lighter version and convert that one as well. If the 2oz weight loss holds, I could have 5.5oz rainwear for sub 50 temps.
Dec 2, 2010 at 7:30 pm #1670312I have also been looking for a new poncho tarp. I am definitely going to take advantage of the additional 40% off and will let you guys know how it is.

Dec 2, 2010 at 7:42 pm #1670317Royal, I took a look at the 2010 model a few days ago. It looks just like the earlier version but uses a lighter fabric and different colors. I've used the earlier Golite poncho/tarp on shorter trips when there wasn't much chance of rain but Coup and Skurka have used them successfully on longer trips.
