Sorry for asking so many questions; I know what it's like to have people ask lots of questions that seem to have obvious answers.

They're design questions that I should really be asking (and answering) myself. But since you were here…

Fabric, webbing and buckles arrived last night. Buckles seem very secure on the webbing, but the existing straps I have seem rather too large, so may have to make my own :-(

I know that I'll faff about with ideas for ages before I get around to cutting fabric; the bivvy tent has been in gestation for five years…
