Is the 24.6 oz for the large quilt or the reg.
Thanks JeffSep 30, 2010 at 4:08 pm #165034124.6 with stuff sack sounds like a regular
Oct 1, 2010 at 5:51 am #1650453Yes, the regular.
Can't take it any longer. I'm heading out for a 24 hr in less than 10 minutes to deflower the new quilt( reg) and hoody (large). Will report back late tomorrow.
Will be in Shenandoah NP. Forecast is 71 F high 43 F low. Clear. Maybe some color in leaves. After the last couple of days of rain, there will be water flowing.
Later : )
Oct 2, 2010 at 6:02 pm #1650876Never took the Hoody out of my pack : )
The night seemed closer to 50. Will have to wait temperatures to drops for a true test.
One good thing IMO I learned was that it fits well inside the BPL Vapr bivy.
(I'm 5 '11" 175 lb)Oct 7, 2010 at 2:09 pm #1652390How generous is the sizing on the Cocoon hoody? I haven't tried one on before but have the pro 60 which, is more of a belay jacket and I think I recall was sized a bit larger?
Is the 2010 Cocoon Hoody designed to fit close, as a mid layer for fit? or sized to go over other layers?
I'd be grateful for any thoughts or advice.
Oct 7, 2010 at 2:14 pm #1652394I sized up on mine to layer it over a UL down inner.
Oct 7, 2010 at 3:20 pm #1652419Thanks Chris,
Any ideas why this thread doesn't rise to the top in 'latest posts"?
I have to do a search on 'cocoon'to find it, as it seems completely buried.
