That Primus Eta Power stove tested well for efficiency – but it's real use is for a group due to its weight and size. Great call.
Back to solo canister stoves:
I found my Vargo Jet-Ti with an MSR windscreen works fine. If I know it's likely to rain and I'll need to do "vestibule cooking" I take the Jet-Ti based on the important CO2 test results you did recently.
However now I often carry a Brunton Flex B/C its wider flame ring gives more even heat and is hotter if I need a quick boil. Plus the clever 4 curved pot supports give a lot of surface area to stabilise a pot. Love Brunton design refinements.
