From last week in the Wind Rivers, in the Silas Lake drainage, via tenkara.

Lucky you. I was in Wind River last week with my Ebisu. Took Highline from Big Sandy Campground as far as Pyramid Lake, then points east and west. I caught fish but not of your size. Mostly 4-6 inches. Maybe next year I’ll know where the big ones are.

btw – met an older dude on the trail near Scull Lake who suggested Finis Mitchell’s book, Wind River Trails. Found it in Jackson and an excellent read. Discovered he was the one who stocked the lakes with 2.5 million fish decades ago. Good for him; good for us.
