Something is just not right with this picture. Anything you can see a little out of the norm?
Oct 27, 2018 at 2:53 pm #3561496the sky with no clouds … or maybe the snow up against the lawn like grass ……
:)
Oct 27, 2018 at 5:40 pm #3561505🤷🏻♂️
Oct 27, 2018 at 6:13 pm #3561512Wrong is a subjective term, but that pot swinging back and forth and banging against the pack and buckles could be quite annoying.
Oct 27, 2018 at 6:38 pm #3561516I don’t know if it’s “wrong,” but the bringing of musical instruments into the wilderness lets the rest of us practice our bear spray skills.
Oct 27, 2018 at 8:53 pm #3561520Thin ice?
Oct 27, 2018 at 11:15 pm #3561537nm.
Oct 27, 2018 at 11:34 pm #3561540Headstock of uke is facing down–altho he’s got the body snugged tight so maybe that’s preferable–hard to say. But when he takes his pack off and sets it down and it collapses a little bit…wouldn’t that stress the head and neck?
and yeah I agree with Lester about the banging pot.
Oct 28, 2018 at 6:49 pm #3561589??Wow, just looking at that pack makes me think HEAVY…??
Oct 28, 2018 at 8:41 pm #3561606Wait so Dan answered his own question with another photo and the caption “thin ice?” Is that the answer?
Or Dan do you not know yourself?
Oct 28, 2018 at 8:49 pm #3561608The pot is supposed to be inside the pack stuffed with all kinds of kitchen stuff :-) First time I’ve seen a pot outside a pack. Bottles I’ve seen…no pots.
The uke is the first one I’ve seen included in a ultra light pack review. Shave an ounce, add a pound ;-)
Oct 28, 2018 at 9:28 pm #3561619And then again, there are exceptions
Oct 28, 2018 at 10:02 pm #3561623what’s with his pointy sun hat?
edit: wait I just found out that this was from an UL pack review.
Oct 28, 2018 at 11:17 pm #3561639Adam, the pot WILL fit inside.
Max, do not play on the ice.
Both of you, how about photos that better show off the features than just ‘show-off’?Dan, how’s that?
Nov 7, 2018 at 6:04 pm #3563067Every time I come to BPL the first thing I see is a photo of something being reviewed. The more times I look at the photos, something starts to stand out as not being right. This photo of the tent makes me think it was set up without being concerned about site preparation. Too much debris so close to the tent. Yes, I know…HYOH ;)
Nov 12, 2018 at 12:53 am #3563636Why are you wearing so many layers?
If that were me I’d overheat faster than a penguin hiking Death Valley.
Mar 26, 2019 at 3:43 am #3585518Honestly the only thing wrong is that the girl in the photo is facing north and has shorts on, not the brightest idea during winter months. Other than that, I’m as clueless as the next guy!
Mar 26, 2019 at 4:49 pm #3585582Needs more cowßell!
Mar 26, 2019 at 11:53 pm #3585651“The pot is supposed to be inside the pack stuffed with all kinds of kitchen stuff :-) First time I’ve seen a pot outside a pack. Bottles I’ve seen…no pots.”
You’re obviously too young to remember The Beverly Hillbillies”.
Mar 27, 2019 at 12:08 am #3585652You should only bring a polycarbonate uke backpacking, unless you want fire wood.
Mar 27, 2019 at 12:13 am #3585654What’s Drew looking at?
Dan, Shug keeps his cook set in a side pocket. Is that OK or will there be a thread on that as well?
More cowbell goes without saying,lol.
Mar 27, 2019 at 2:20 am #3585682Uh oh Drew, busted!
Mar 27, 2019 at 2:59 am #3585690The guitar is way too small…
Mar 27, 2019 at 11:24 am #3585713Where’s the Marshall amp?
Mar 27, 2019 at 3:36 pm #3585747Are you referring to the shoulder strap webbing connecting to the hip belt?
