What shoulder width for winter sleeping bag?

Back when Roger started backpacking they were still using canvas tents and caribou hides to stay warm…no sleeping pads.

Seriously though Joe, you might as well go with an Enlightened Equipment Conundrum Long X-Wide 0 degree quilt/sleeping bag hybrid. Shoulder circumference is 70″ and it has a closed footbox, but it can zip up completely like a sleeping bag or open up like a quilt.
