I’m with Mags.

Why would anyone wish to guarantee the destruction of a great campsite by broadcasting its location to the hiking world?

A pestilence upon Big Outside for such treachery.

These things are best kept closely guarded, whispered only among trusted friends.

At what point should a search for somebody missing in the backcountry be suspended?
Do we know all there is to know about the High Sierra already?
What’s your favorite backcountry campsite?

1) Too many variables. Each case needs to be evaluated itself.

2) I’m happy with topographical maps. Some funding for trail maintenance in my lifetime would be nice in a select few areas.

3) You’re kidding. Certainly not in any National Parks
