Thank you, Gilad.  I have been looking for something I could use to take along in carryon luggage when traveling, and these look ideal for that!

Hi @mathewb, I’m afraid we can’t – we do shipping using Amazon and can’t ship to Canada, sorry.

Happy they work for you @dkramalc , they do fit into any size bag we tried so far.

Good price and weight. The pole colors don’t seem to match each other. Some have more green color than others. How is it they are carbon fiber but green and silver colored? I have only seen black carbon fiber poles.

Carbon and aluminum

“Compact and lightweight – unique design folds to 14.5 inches. Made of carbon and aluminium, weighing only 16.2 oz per pair
Durable – light carbon and high impact aluminium makes these low vibration poles able to withstand high pressure and real life use”

Hi John,

Thanks for the kind words! The colours on the thinner shafts are slightly warmer, but both poles are identical from what I know (or at least all the ones I’ve seen).

The colour is a coating over the carbon, bit to protect it and to make sure it looks a little less dull than plain carbon.

Cheers,

Gilad

Hi Ken,

Yes, using carbon shafts and aluminium connectors to increase stress durability around the connection points while keeping cost way bellow the $100+ markup.

Hi, I submitted my order using the BPL member discount code but it didn’t work. I sent an email describing the situation and am waiting for directions to remedy the issue. I’ve been researching hiking poles and for the price, weight and foldability these should work well. Thanks for the great price cooperation and articles. Especially the recent one on simplifying!

HI Bart,

Glad we managed to sort it all out and the poles are now on their way.

Enjoy them, thanks for all the kind words.

I just want to commend Gilad for his excellent customer service.  When I received the poles I had ordered, I could not get them to assemble properly.  After emails back and forth, sending pictures from both parties, we determined that one section of the poles was tightly jammed, so he sent me another pair which he personally checked out before shipping.  I just received them, and they assemble quite easily.  His attention to the problem is very much appreciated!  I would highly recommend him and his business.
