I would love to see how you guys are doing the wind screen with the Windmaster stove. I have the JB ti-Sol, the Olicamp ion micro ti stove and the Windmaster. The Olicamp is by far the slowest and blows out with the slightest breeze, light but never use it. The JB and Windmaster both do very well in the wind ( don’t blow out ) but the JB is defiantly more efficient with its super fast boil times and neoprene cozy. The Winemaster is great stove though. The combination of the JB pot and the Winemaster is intriguing, but I cant see modifying my Ti-Sol pot though.

Thinking about upgrading Jetboil Minimo to Soto Windmaster. Good idea?

Kurt. Try the JB pan on top of the Windmaster without modification. I found even this way gave much better performance than with my JB stove.
Modding the JB pan(cutting appropriate slots into the base) to bring the stove burner a little closer, made the combo perform a little better, and made it more stable physically. It doesn’t affect the pans re-fitting to the JB stove at all.
