Besides MLD, EE, and As Tucas, do you know if anyone else who makes Synthetic Quilts? I think Nunatak may be offering something shortly but I couldn’t find any other manufacturers.

I really like the “refill” feature, as well. For a nominal fee, they will replace worn out insulation. Much more cost effective and environmentally responsible to reuse the shell and just replace the insulation when needed.

Shameless plug here…OverMountain Gear makes some ultralight synthetic quilts. 35 deg, 42 deg, and 50 deg options :)

They have a sewn footbox, but the rest of the quilt can be unclipped and remain open, or clipped and cinched when the weather turns cold. Cheers!
Mar 4, 2017 at 7:55 am #3454312Hi Carie, thanks for sharing! It’s great to have more quilt makers out there! Your quilts look awesome, especially the throw. I could definitely see using that in front of a fire on a cold night!
Mar 4, 2017 at 8:06 am #3454314Hi Simon, thanks! Â Yeah, I started making the throws because I was getting custom order requests for them this winter.
