Enthusiasm is good, but skill is better –
They are almost as graceful as Doug’s pandas ….over in Chaff.

Would throwing you pack across before leaping help (I suppose with a cord stuck to it in case you messed up that toss)? I’ve never tried to jump that far with weight on my back.
