Van Peski explains that there is no reason to eat cold food when going without a stove . Long time members will no doubt recognize Mike Clelland’s drawing style. Nice walk down memory lane.

Apr 1, 2016 at 7:13 am #3393222Is it because of Leap Year that people are posting their April Fools on March 31st?
Apr 1, 2016 at 8:13 am #3393234I’m amused that you can put it in the shopping cart and checkout. Would they actually sell you one?
Apr 1, 2016 at 10:34 am #3393277A fool and their money…
Apr 1, 2016 at 11:11 am #3393285It’s a real product, no joke.
This is just the innovation we have been waiting for! This could very well change the face of modern day backpacking forever. It is a glorious time to be alive!

Apr 1, 2016 at 12:30 pm #3393310I want one. It’s a nice dual purpose item too: an excellent conversation starter on the trail. Can’t believe this has not been done before. The next obvious step: a way to catalytically convert flatulence to either heat or light via a “plug-in” style adapter. In 50 years we’ll all be backpacking in stillsuits to recycle our body heat, gas, sweat and food byproducts.
Apr 1, 2016 at 12:59 pm #3393314I don’t want to know about women…
Apr 1, 2016 at 1:00 pm #3393316I’ve been using stillsuits since the 60s
Apr 1, 2016 at 7:04 pm #3393377To paraphrase the very old Mae West quip, Is that your dinner in your pants or are you just happy to see me?
Apr 1, 2016 at 8:20 pm #3393401You guys are all too narrow minded. If you don’t want it in your pants, you could always put it under an arm pit!
Apr 1, 2016 at 9:13 pm #3393416…if you think that’s bad, you should see how he makes bagels….
Apr 2, 2016 at 2:37 pm #3393553Apr 2, 2016 at 4:57 pm #3393579Everything tastes like frank and beans…
Apr 2, 2016 at 5:08 pm #3393584Or just Frank.
Apr 2, 2016 at 5:39 pm #3393591Hmmmmm…I think I’d be good with that.
Apr 8, 2016 at 4:52 pm #3394874I put a ziploc bag of milk in my shelf bra all day to make yogurt, so why not?
