Stove Bench tests for other types of stoves besides upright canister stoves?

I was listening to the podcast on upright canister stove bench results which was competed in 2019. I was wondering if there are any plans to do other types of stoves (e.g. remote canister stoves, liquid fuel stoves, …). Surely we do use more than just upright canister stoves. I would find this helpful.

If anyone ever does that, I’d like to see some improvements to Stove Bench itself. Sure, it is great to have standardized test results, but that particular test leaves room for improvement.

Testing with the valve wide open is not at all similar to real life. They had stoves melting, which was blamed on the stove, but more accurately could be described as user error. It certainly isn’t anywhere near the most efficient way to use any stove.

Also, as Roger Caffin pointed out, testing without a windscreen is kind of pointless.

I always thought Stovebench was  a pretty good project, giving a reasonable idea of how those stoves performed. And if a stove melts down under those circumstances, not sure I want to use that in the wild.

More detailed analysis would be interesting: like being able to use specific gas pressure or fuel flow as a standard across all the stoves tested for apples-apples comparison. Or, using the same instrumentation, being able to run stoves at 50%, 75%, and max. In the wild though, with all the variability, doesn’t it come down to user experience with a stove to get good performance?

Thanks for all the replies. I’m well aware that I can find plenty of stove associated tests such as the 2 listed above. I was just wondering if BPL had any plans to do other types of stoves. I’m thinking “no” based on no responses by BPL staff to this thread.
