As do I. I can’t imagine ever going back. I’ve still been working through suspensions to find one I love and I think I’ve finally settled on the simple beckett hitch using dyneema straps from RBTR.Dec 7, 2018 at 3:30 pm #3567929

We don’t get out often, in fact the other week was the first trip in a long time. It was super cold and I ended up in the tent with the kids and had to abandon my hammock to keep them warm. I slept horrible. The biggest problem I have is pads, they used foam pads and they were not warm enough for me. Also not comfortable at all. About 3am I gave up and got the fire going. The hammock is just so comfortable and I hate trying to sleep on the ground.
I suppose if I invested in an expensive wide warm pad I might sleep ok in the tent. The other problem I have with pads is my arms fall off the sides, then my shoulders fall asleep. lol I know I’m a mess.Dec 7, 2018 at 11:38 pm #3568010
