I carry an iphone and a Garmin Inreach Mini, along with an Anker battery pack. What are your favorite solutions for needing to carry both iphone cord and micro USB cord? And what do y’all think of this? https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD820AM/A/lightning-to-micro-usb-adapter

You can’t use that with a battery pack. I use the little three inch cords

I use one like this, that has both lightning and micro USB cables built in.

    Less to keep track of.

I recently picked up two Nomad keychain cables, one Micro-USB, one Lightning:

7.5 grams each, works at home, haven’t tried them in the backcountry yet. Tied them together with a short loop of cord to prevent loss.

Note: Get high-quality USB cables from reliable sources. The cheap cords sold online and in gas stations wear out quickly and often have skinny wires which lose power to resistance. MfI certification is a good sign for Lightning cables.

I’ve got a three-way, 6″ cord: micro-USB, old iPad, and new iPhone connectors each on a 6-inch cord coming off a standard USB plug.

Manfred had an iPhone / Android connector in his car so the kids and parent could charge their different phones.  You put it into an Android right side up or an iPhone upside down.

The thing I needed most recently was a dongle to go between my new iPhone and my old 1/8″ stereo jack Bose noise-canceling headphones ($300) AND a charging cable for the phone.  Then I can use the noise-canceling headphones on the plane while charging the phone from seat power.  $9 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YZBHHC5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
