BTW, why bring a cozy? you get great results leaving your mug in the windscreen.  In many cases, there is no need to add the extra weight of a cozy.  My 2 cents.

Like you, I like to eat out of my pot and use a cozy to reduce fuel consumption and bottom burning. I like the 900 cc Evernew Mug-Pot. MSR Titan is very similar. I can’t eat of of anything smaller without making a mess. I do usually bring an UL drinking container in a cozy as well, but not in summer when I don’t need a hot drink.

I have an Open Country  3 cup anodized aluminum pot W /lid from Trail designs. Their small Sidewinder Caldera Cone stove was made for it. The pot’s wider-than-tall  measurements are more fuel efficient than tall, narrow pots and fuel efficiency means less weight – i.e. fewer ESBIT tablets – and a bit less time spent waiting for a boil.

For me this is just the right size for solo cooking, not just boiling water for freezer bag and dehydrated foods but to actually cook things like pasta. When backpacking I live to eat, not just eat to live. (Sorta like the difference between the French and the Russians.;o)
