Going to do a loop including the Chinese Wall in the Bob Marshall next week.  Looking for thoughts on shelter and snow.

I’d like to take a small mid with no bug protection due to weight, will I regret this?  The other issue is that my mid with a bug insert is larger meaning less campsite options.

Secondly, wondering if it would be helpful to take some very lightweight snowshoes for the traverse on the top of the Chinese wall.  Seems some from the Bob Open used them, and not sure how much snow has melted since then.

    Thanks

Don’t bring snowshoes, do bring a bugproof shelter.
