Growing up, my dad instilled in us kids an appreciation for the wilderness, teaching us “leave no trace” before that was a popular term. Vacation meant going backpacking or camping. The problem was that every trip had an end; we had to go back to regular life.
After a number of years working in the outdoor industry, I am back to semi-regular life while dreaming of ways to merge the outdoors, public health, income production and family life.
