I have a pair of stretch fleece gloves that I love, but only 1 month after purchase, the stripes of grippy stuff on the fingers and palm are coming off, especially the right hand.  Has anyone tried using tent seam sealers or similar stuff to replace the grippy bits on gloves?

    Bet Seam Grip would work.

    Silicone will peel off .

Seam grip might work. I would put a thin stripe, less likely to peel off.

id go with undiluted silnet … itll peel off in a bit so you need to keep on reapplying it …

seam grip might harden a bit too much since its urethane …

    Reapply silicone thinly.
Silnet or Permatex Flowable Windscreen Sealant (my preference).

    Cheers

I have done that with mittens. I just used a stripe of regular calk and spread it around thinly on my mitts. It stayed on pretty well. I think it would depend on what type of base material, though. I had wool mitts.
