My Trail runners are falling apart. Any suggestions on how to fix them? The only damage is that on the picture, so its worth some effort saving them.

Since the fraying is on the outside edge and very visible you may want to try to hand sew it with needle and tread. If you are less worried about the way it looks you could try a piece of tenacious tape or some glue.
Seam Grip or Shoe Goo. Maybe first use a couple stitches to get it closed and then glue over it.
I repaired some shoes like that although not quite as bad. Took several iterations of gluing and drying.
Same here, a couple of stitches to pull it together and then Seam Grip. Then stop kicking yourself as you walk.
Yep – hand stitching with strong thread is you’re best bet.
Thanks for the suggestions! I will give it a go.
that’s your only problem ??
just ignore it and keep moving, it won’t get much worse and is purely cosmetic.
its a badge that you are actually out on the trail. please don’t say you are concerned with looks out there.
