Congratulations to Kat!! winner of the prestigious Silver Slug award from UC Santa Cruz (my fair alma mater). And, she was featured on Good Morning America in an inspirational interview. There was never any question that brilliant Kat, who speaks multiple languages, would ace her degree come fire, flood, or drought. I would post the link to Kat’s interview but I don’t want to overstep bounds. Hopefully Kat may come along and give permission.
Oh, and the Banana Slug is the mascot of UC Santa Cruz.

Jul 23, 2021 at 4:09 pm #3722870Thanks Jscott for the kind words ( and Steven).
I did make it :)Jul 23, 2021 at 4:57 pm #3722873Very remarkable. Most schools districts are begging for teachers and they will often waive the education requirements and put you to work right away and allow you to get the education credentials as you are employed teaching. At least you have the Bachelor’s degree and that’s the main thing. Katt, I assume you are fluent in German, French and Italian?
Jul 23, 2021 at 5:16 pm #3722879Way to go, Kat! Not one bit surprised.
