I recently added more down to a well-used down bag I bought off eBay. There was a dearth of down in the foot box. I cut a 1-2″ slit in the middle of the baffle, slowly and gently pushed a pre-measured amount of down through the hole, and sealed it with some tenacious tape and seam sealer. Doesn’t look pretty but it fluffs up nicely now. I probably added about 1.5 ounces to 3 different baffles. So what you would need is some down, tenacious repair tape (REI) and some seam sealer (also REI). Much cheaper than sending it out. HTH.

I have an enigma from 2013 when Tim first came out with them. It’s actually made for somebody 5 ft 10 and that’s not long enough for somebody 5’10. He was trying to make the lightest quilt on market…. so with 950 down it really did not have enough down in it. After a couple of pretty cold nights at only about 30-35F….I ended up adding 1.5 oz to it of 9 50 down. Just rip the seam open at the top and stick a paper towel tube there and shove the down through the paper towel tube with a dowel. Then sew up by hand… You’ll only have little openings about one and a half inches wide on a couple of tubes to sew up. You can do it in a couple hours. EZ
