    Jon, does the plate/stove burner fit inside the HX pot?

    So I assume the Sterno with your custom lid is the lightest setup, yes? What does the weight come to for:

    * the modified firemaple 300t burner with the ocelot plate
    * the sterno pot
    * your custom lid

    Thanks!
    Ryan

    The plate is 3.5 inches in diameter and fits inside the Inferno Mug (as well as the Stash)

    Stove & plate – 51 grams  (plate alone 22 grams)

    Inferno mug (no lid) -121 grams

    replacement lid -18 grams (standard lid -58 grams)

    For a total weight of 190 grams (6.7 oz.)

    Nice kit Jon.

    Regarding packability, with the plate secured to the stove, does the fuel canister fit in the Inferno mug? If not, does the canister fit if you unscrew the plate?

    A fuel canister will not fit when the kit is fully assembled.  You can take the kit apart to minimize the volume and the canister will fit but, you run the risk of loosing a nut.  That being said. you only really need 1 nut to operate the stove.  I am recommneding that people keep it assembled: no brain, no headache.  Here is a graph of fuel consumption in the wind for various stoves.

    Here is the latest video where we discuss stove efficiency in the wind as well as using your stove in both calm and windy condition.
