Dan, I like the creativity as usual. Is the titanium support really more stable than the wire, and will it hold a full two cup pot? What type/thickness of titanium did you use? Thanks.

Yes, much stronger than the stainless steel wire stand when subjected to the higher btu of the Esbit. I put a little down ward pressure on the wire one while it was hot hot and it collapsed. Holds 2 cups with ease nice and stable. .004 Ti
